Job Description
Summary:
The Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately processing vehicle deals, maintaining organized records, and supporting the dealership's administrative and accounting functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bill all new and used car deals and post into accounting.
- Organize all deal paperwork; check for completeness (verify costs and profits, signatures, VIN, etc.).
- Process dealer trades in and out and process finance cancelations.
- Performing schedule reviews and reconciliation throughout the month.
- Work with the F&I department to ensure timely deal processing.
- Process wholesales.
- Route paid deals to the tag and title clerk for processing as soon as money is received in house.
- Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees as needed.
- Assist with filing and scanning.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of accounting or back office automotive dealership experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule.
- Detail-oriented and time-management skills .
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have previous Billing Clerk automotive experience.
- Previous experience with CDK.
Additional Information
Compensation (Hourly):
- $24.00 - 28.00 / hour
- Based on experience and qualifications
*The Billing Clerk Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $24.00 and $28.00 / hour*
Schedule:
- FULL TIME
- Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30am - 6pm
- Overtime required on first business day of the month
