Tax Manager
Skills
- Active CPA license required
- 7+ years of progressive tax experience including preparing tax provision at a public company
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international corporate tax rules
- Experience with transfer pricing, R&D credits, and Section 174 analysis
- Comfortable managing external advisors and audit tax teams
- Proven ability to build and improve tax processes and controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication for a fully remote environment
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global tax strategy to minimize risk and optimize cash flow
- Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions, footnote disclosures, and supporting memoranda
- Manage U.S. federal, state, and international tax compliance filings and schedules
- Maintain documentation, controls, and schedules that support tax reporting and audit readiness
- Oversee transfer pricing documentation, R&D tax credit claims, and Section 174 analysis
- Support international tax planning and M&A-related tax analysis and structuring when applicable
- Manage relationships with auditors and third-party tax advisors
- Collaborate with FP&A and Legal on intercompany, reporting, and tax-related matters
Education
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Master’s in Tax or relevant graduate degree preferred
