AEO/SEO Strategist

We’re looking for an AEO/SEO Strategist to help our clients win visibility in an answer-first world. This role combines strategic thinking, technical know-how, and client partnership. You’ll lead research, develop frameworks, and guide key customer accounts through the fast-evolving landscape of answer engine optimization (AEO).

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a strategic partner to our customers, helping them identify, interpret, and implement platform recommendations.

  • Lead regular client content strategy sessions, focused on visibility in AI-powered search experiences (ChatGPT, Google SGE, Perplexity, etc.).

  • Translate platform outputs into actionable content and optimization strategies tied to specific personas and prompt behaviors.

  • Provide the product team with insight into real-world client needs, edge cases, and usability feedback.

  • Refine AEO playbooks for various verticals based on customer results and LLM behavior shifts.

  • Research and advise on emerging trends in generative AI, structured content, and search intent modeling.

  • Conduct competitor and gap analysis to help clients stay ahead in a fast-moving discovery landscape.

  • Recommend best practices for schema markup, structured data, and SEO architecture as they relate to AI visibility.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years in SEO, content strategy, AI search optimization, or growth/marketing strategy roles.

  • Hands-on experience with AEO or a deep understanding of how LLMs generate and prioritize content.

  • Familiarity with how customer personas and prompt behavior impact AI results and user journeys.

  • Strong communicator who can distill technical concepts into persuasive strategic recommendations for clients.

  • Experience working with or advising product teams, especially in early-stage environments.

  • Understanding of schema.org, structured data, and programmatic SEO approaches.
    Bonus: You’ve built something before: startup, side project, or framework, and love testing new ideas.
