Role Overview:
As the Head of Acquisitions, you will oversee and manage a team of Acquisitions Managers, ensuring acquisition targets are met, and operations run smoothly. Your primary focus will be guiding the team to secure signed contracts, improving processes, and driving efficiency to close more deals. This senior leadership role emphasizes coaching, training, and optimizing workflows. It offers the opportunity to focus on team success rather than transaction coordination or complex negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead a team of Acquisitions Managers to meet acquisition targets.
Provide mentorship, fostering growth and efficiency within the team.
Motivate the team to close deals and stay focused on signed contracts.
Identify process improvement opportunities to boost conversion rates and streamline workflows.
Hold team members accountable for performance and adherence to established processes.
Acquisition Process & Deal Closure:
Focus on guiding the team to convert leads into signed contracts.
Provide guidance to the team on executing straightforward contracts and deal terms.
Ensure alignment with the company’s acquisition strategy to maximize productivity and deal closure rates.
Strategy & Process Optimization:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the acquisition process and improve efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks and resolve them to ensure a smooth path from lead generation to contract signing.
Collaborate with marketing and operations to streamline the overall acquisition workflow.
Reporting & KPIs:
Track team performance to ensure acquisition targets and KPIs are met.
Provide regular reports to senior management, offering insights into acquisition performance and suggestions for improvements.
Analyze data to inform decisions on process enhancements and optimization of targets.
Qualifications:
Experience & Skills:
5+ years of experience in acquisitions, real estate, or a similar field with a proven track record of success in closing deals.
Experience managing and leading a team, focusing on performance and achieving results.
Ability to coach a team in executing straightforward negotiations and contracts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, engaging with both internal teams and external clients.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, providing steady leadership while ensuring focus on securing signed contracts.
Familiarity with CRM systems and data management to maintain an organized pipeline.
