About the Job:
Define and execute the US Commercial Data Foundations strategy aligned with global standards.
Lead the architecture and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms.
Build capabilities to deliver trusted, governed, and high-quality data at scale.
Drive modernization and harmonization of data platforms across commercial teams.
Champion innovation through modern engineering practices and AI-enablement.
Ensure operational excellence with robust data quality and observability frameworks.
Design and deliver digital products that expand and improve commercial data foundations.
Partner with analytics and AI teams to enable reusable, scalable, ML-ready datasets.
Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to align data foundations with business needs.
Lead and develop a cross-functional team of data engineers, product owners, and analysts.
About You
7+ years experience leading digital and data transformations in life sciences or similar industries.
Proven people management experience with both direct and indirect reports
Strong business acumen and ability to bridge technical and commercial needs.
Skilled in modernizing legacy data environments and implementing data mesh principles.
Effective leader with a track record of building high-performance teams.
Excellent collaboration and influencing skills across global and cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
Technical proficiency in:
Programming: Python, R, or Java
Data Management: SQL, NoSQL, Graph/Vector databases, Data Lakes
Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
AI/ML: Familiarity with GenAI and ML algorithms
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Data Integration: IICS or equivalent
Governance & Compliance: GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA
DevOps/DataOps: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing

The salary range for this position is:
$202,500.00 - $292,500.00All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
