- General ledger posting and financial statement preparation
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting for multiple rental markets and maintain subsidiary ledgers
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc owner/vendor distributions and 1099 reporting
- Post G/L activity and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Support Property Accounting Manager with month-end close and ad hoc projects
- Monitor cash receipts, guest billings, billing adjustments, and owner/guest ledger reconciliations
- Review invoice coding and workflow to ensure timely vendor payments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting accuracy
- Research historical cash transactions and respond to managers and stakeholders
- Provide accounting detail and support for internal and external audits
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of property management or property accounting experience
