This position is a 6-month temporary role based in our San Mateo HQ office, with part-time hours of 20 hours per week and eligibility for overtime pay.
We are looking for a temporary Technical Solutions & Operations Specialist, Ads to support the onboarding, integration, and optimization of developers implementing advertising solutions, such as Rewarded Video (RV) ads into their free-to-play (F2P) gaming experiences. This role is hands-on and technical: you’ll help integrate RV into developer experiences, debug API and SDK issues, and make technical recommendations for performance and stability. You’ll also work cross-functionally to create both technical and non-technical playbooks, share best practices, and scale RV adoption across genres. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product operations and partnerships teams, as well as directly with top developers, to ensure smooth onboarding and optimal ad performance.
You Have:
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support, solutions engineering, game development, or ad tech integration (gaming experience a plus).
- Hands-on experience with API/SDK integrations, ideally in game environments.
- Ability to read and write code in multiple languages (Lua, C++, Java/Kotlin, Objective-C, Go).
- Familiarity with debugging tools, backend services, and performance monitoring platforms.
- Experience collaborating with developers and technical teams, ideally in a live-service or F2P environment.
You Will:
- Provide hands-on technical support to top developers, integrating Rewarded Video (RV) ads directly into their games.
- Diagnose and resolve complex API/SDK issues using internal tools (e.g., Superset, Kibana, Postman) and across multiple languages, including Lua, C++, Java/Kotlin, and Objective-C.
- Develop and maintain technical and non-technical playbooks with best practices for RV implementation, and document recurring issues to scale developer support.
- Utilize SQL and Python to analyze ad performance data, identify key adoption trends, and collaborate with peers to prioritize data-driven solutions.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits on this page are applicable to this hourly position.
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
