Director, Contracts and Legal Operations

Rithum™ is a trusted commerce network that helps brands and retailers optimize e-commerce operations. They are seeking a Director of Contracts and Legal Operations to lead contract management, legal technology implementation, and team leadership in a fully remote capacity.

Skills

  • Expertise in contract negotiation, redlining, and lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency with legal and procurement technology platforms such as Conga CLM, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and Zip.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organizational ability.
  • Leadership and people management capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales contracting lifecycle and optimize legal workflows.
  • Negotiate, redline, analyze, and execute sales and procurement agreements under legal supervision.
  • Implement and manage legal technology, including Conga CLM and Salesforce CRM.
  • Develop standardized contract processes, templates, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with RevOps Deals Desk to align commercial transactions with business objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting on legal operations metrics for leadership.
  • Lead procurement vendor contracting processes using platforms like ZIP.
  • Drive process improvements and support change management including M&A integration.
  • Lead and foster a high-performing, fully remote legal team.
  • Coordinate team offsites, activities, and training for engagement and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders and senior legal leaders.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD or advanced legal degree preferred.
