Senior Quality Engineer, Trade Order Management
Skills
- 4+ years in quality engineering with test planning and automation experience
- Proven experience applying software testing methodologies within a CI/CD lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with Cypress (E2E) and Karate (API) automation frameworks
- Working knowledge of AWS and application monitoring (Datadog)
- Ability to translate business/domain requirements into test cases
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence decisions respectfully
- Ownership mindset for test tooling and process evolution
- Comfort using AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate QA workflows
Responsibilities
- Collaborate across product, design, and engineering to define expected behavior and prevent bugs early
- Define, execute, and refine test plans and automation strategies for front-end and back-end systems
- Maintain and evolve reliable E2E and API automation suites to ensure quick surfacing of issues
- Participate across the full development lifecycle: requirements, design reviews, implementation, and release
- Investigate root causes, write actionable bug reports, analyze defect trends, and address coverage gaps
- Build realistic test data based on customer use cases to strengthen internal testing environments
- Own release readiness under tight timelines and take accountability for QE tooling and practices
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and contribute to a learning-focused culture
Education
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, accounting, or related field preferred
- Equivalent practical experience in software testing/quality engineering will be considered
