ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a content writer/marketer to help grow Retell’s presence in the AI, SaaS, and voice technology space. In this role, you'll create and optimize long-form content that attracts and engages our audience, while driving organic traffic through strategic SEO. You'll own on-page SEO performance, build high-quality backlinks, and collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging. From blog posts to landing pages and brand storytelling, you'll craft compelling copy that supports our growth. You'll also use analytics to guide strategy and leverage AI tools to boost content creation without losing the human touch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Write & publish SEO-optimized content: Create original long-form blog posts, guides, and explainers that attract organic traffic and showcase Retell’s thought leadership in AI, SaaS, and voice technology.
Own on-page SEO performance: Use tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or SurferSEO to optimize pages, track keyword performance, and identify new topic opportunities.
Expand our backlink presence: Develop outreach strategies to secure guest posts, citations, and backlinks from credible domains in the tech and AI ecosystem.
Collaborate across teams: Work with marketing, design, and product teams to align messaging across website pages, landing pages, sales decks, and case studies.
Support brand storytelling: Write clear, compelling copy for our homepage, feature pages, social media posts, press materials, and customer case studies.
Analyze & iterate: Review analytics regularly to understand what drives engagement, leads, and search performance — then refine content strategies accordingly.
Leverage AI tools creatively: Use AI-based research, summarization, and ideation tools to improve writing speed and quality, while maintaining a distinctly human tone.
YOU MIGHT THRIVE IF
You’ve written for SaaS, AI, or B2B tech companies and understand how to turn technical features into business value.
You’re fluent in SEO/AEO best practices and comfortable working with keyword research, metadata, and link-building strategies.
You love crafting educational and persuasive content — whether that’s a technical guide, storytelling piece, or product deep dive.
You’re curious about how AI can amplify creativity, not replace it. You experiment with tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or Notion AI to write smarter and faster.
You’re proactive, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
You write with clarity, warmth, and authority — your words make readers trust and remember the brand.
Bonus Points
Experience writing sales enablement or customer education content for enterprise products.
Familiarity with content performance tracking (Google Analytics, HubSpot, or Notion dashboards).
Basic understanding of conversion copywriting or growth content strategy.
Previous work in startups or high-growth marketing teams
