Role Overview

We seek a Project Manager to transform our development operations and drive successful project delivery across our dual-team structure. You'll implement Agile methodologies for our internal dev/design team while coordinating seamlessly with our contracted senior development group. This role demands an experienced project professional who can independently manage complex technical projects, establish sustainable processes, and excel in a lean, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Own

Process Implementation & Team Development

• Design and implement comprehensive Agile/Scrum framework for internal development team

• Facilitate all ceremonial activities: sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and demos

• Coach developers on project workflows, estimation, and professional development practices

• Establish and maintain documentation standards, project templates, and process improvements

Cross-Team Coordination & Delivery

• Manage project alignment and communication between internal team and contracted development group

• Coordinate dependencies, timelines, and deliverables across both teams

• Interface professionally with team's technical lead on project status and requirements

• Drive end-to-end project delivery from conception through deployment

Project Execution & Stakeholder Management

• Write detailed project specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria

• Manage product backlogs, sprint planning, and feature prioritization

• Coordinate with stakeholders on requirements gathering, scope management, and timeline communication

• Oversee QA processes, release planning, and deployment coordination

Requirements

Project Management Excellence

• 3+ years project management experience scaling technical products or applications

• Proven track record implementing Agile methodologies in small team environments

• Experience coordinating between internal teams and external contractors/vendors

• Strong background in process improvement and team productivity optimization

Technical & Development Understanding

• Sufficient technical depth to collaborate effectively with React development teams

• Experience with modern development tools and workflows (Jira, Confluence, GitHub, etc.)

• Understanding of web application architecture, development cycles, and technical constraints

• Ability to facilitate technical discussions and translate between stakeholders and developers

Leadership & Communication Excellence

• Proven ability to transform disorganized teams into productive, process-driven units

• Strong stakeholder management across technical and business audiences

• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members

• Track record of driving consensus and maintaining team alignment under tight deadlines

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Experience managing projects with both internal staff and external development partners

• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships

• Strong problem-solving skills for resource-constrained, fast-paced environments

• Experience communicating project status and technical concepts across the organization
