Skills
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, C#, or C++ to extend 3D software functionality.
- Expertise in Rhino 3D and Grasshopper for computational design and geometry generation.
- Understanding of CNC machining principles and multi-axis robotic arm operations (KUKA experience preferred).
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative software development environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced computational geometry methods for complex novel design and additive manufacturing.
- Create custom software tools and algorithms for complex multi-axis robotic motion and tool path planning.
- Collaborate with simulation and weld engineers to enhance workflows involving design CAD and printed metal outcomes.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and provide technical feedback on new geometric designs from partners or customers.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Architecture, Computational Design, or a related field.
