Technical Lead-Agent Journey
About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Lead to join our Agent Journey team — a cross-functional group focused on scaling the platforms and systems that power our agents’ day-to-day success. You’ll play a critical role in designing, building, and evolving core infrastructure across Salesforce (Propertybase), AWS, and other internal tools that fuel how opportunities flow into the business.
This is a hands-on leadership role — one where you’ll drive architecture, guide external vendors, contribute code, and help shape the technical roadmap. - Lead development across Salesforce and AWS platforms, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for our Salesforce vendor partners — reviewing code, ensuring alignment, and driving delivery
- Architect and implement integrations across Salesforce and other systems like BI, Marketplace, and third-party tools
- Own infrastructure observability — implementing robust logging, monitoring, and alerting with tools like DataDog
- Collaborate with Product, Design, BI, and other engineering teams to evaluate feasibility, uncover risks early, and deliver impactful solutions
- Define and enforce best practices across code quality, testing, automation, and DevOps workflows
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and growing internal technical talent as we scale our engineering capabilities
- Operate with an agile mindset: work iteratively, deliver value fast, and maintain tight feedback loops
- 5+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems (Salesforce or similar enterprise platform)
- Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Flow (or willingness to ramp quickly)
- Strong understanding of modular system design, CI/CD, and environment management
- Experience with modern programming languages (TypeScript, Python, Go)
- Practical experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS)
- Familiar with microservices and event-driven architecture
- Proven ability to lead distributed or vendor-based engineering teams
- Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across Product, BI, and Engineering
- Comfortable balancing speed with technical integrity — and leading by example
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like DataDog (or equivalent)
- Strong production-awareness — able to design for scale, uptime, and quick diagnostics
