Macmillan Learning is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for Platform Product who will lead go-to-market strategies and create impactful positioning and messaging based on market insights, enhancing the reach and efficacy of their technology platforms.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, synthesize market data, create positioning and messaging, manage cross-functional teams, and provide sales enablement tools while fostering a market feedback loop.
Skills: Strong communication skills, product marketing experience, data analysis capabilities, team-oriented mindset, and technical proficiency in products and industries relevant to the role.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of product marketing experience, preferred 3-5 years in technology product marketing or SAAS, and experience with AI marketing tools.
Location: Position based in the United States with potential travel of about 15%.
Compensation: $115000 - $130000 / Annually

The Senior Marketing Manager, Platform Product is a central figure within Macmillan Learning's marketing organization. This product marketing expert serves as the most trusted expert in developing go-to-market initiatives that reflect a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, buyers, use cases, and differentiated positioning and messaging. The analytical and creative marketing strategist who will excel in this role demonstrates a track-record of creating and fostering scalable feedback loops that underscore a deep understanding of the needs of target audiences, ensures effective positioning and messaging, and delivers desired revenue and activation results.
This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing Strategy and is responsible for working closely with stakeholders in Product, Learning Science, Discipline Marketing, Market Development, Brand Experience, and Discipline Strategy Teams to develop strategic plans that provide clear direction for go-to-market strategies for Platform solutions, tactical marketing campaigns, communicate the value of products and features, provide a framework for discipline and course-level technology marketing strategies, and identify and champion strategies based on technology product marketing best practices to address current market and realities and product capabilities. This role does not have managerial responsibilities.
