Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production engineering teams to align process development with operating asset needs
- Identify challenges and opportunities in mechanical separation at laboratory, pilot, and commercial scales
- Design experiments and analyze experimental data from lab, pilot, and plant trials
- Recommend plant modifications and support implementation to improve mechanical processing performance
- Provide technical leadership for mechanical separation systems across Redwood locations
- Contribute technical input to flowsheet options analysis and provide recommendations
- Support commissioning, scale-up activities, and cross-site technical initiatives
- Ensure safe execution of work in office and production environments and follow PPE and safety protocols
Education
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Relevant industrial experience in mechanical processing, materials separation, or metallurgical/recycling operations
