- Experience building and maintaining hardware-software integrated test setups
- Strong debugging skills for electrical and test systems

- Ability to read schematics and use lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter)

Responsibilities
- Define and implement HIL strategy and hardware/software architecture from the ground up
- Design controller validation test hardware and software in collaboration with Software, Electrical, and Systems engineers
- Execute controller Hardware-in-the-Loop testing to validate functional behavior against specs
- Develop, maintain, and automate test setups and processes across the software development lifecycle
- Ensure safety-critical functionality and validation coverage for controllers and BMS
- Document designs, test plans, and results; iterate with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to a fast-paced startup culture; occasionally support off-hours testing and travel
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years developing application software for hardware systems
