As an Engineering Manager, you’ll join our engineering leadership team and manage // coordinate the entire software development process for your teams. You will be empowered to oversee projects to ensure its success by coordinating the teams, resources, and activities while collaborating with our incredible Product Owners and other key stakeholders.

• Lead, support and empower a team of brilliant engineers by fostering collaboration, innovation and ownership.

• Manage the entire software development lifecycle (i.e. inputs & outputs to software engineering).

• Oversee release management of new features, ensuring smooth QA and production rollouts.

• Manage team resources by clarifying requirements, removing blockers, overseeing tasks prioritizations and attracting great talent.

• Drive the team in thinking critically through product requirements, ensuring consistent and valuable communication is present throughout the project, in close coordination with product management.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, logging and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution.

• Collaborate with our Product Owners and other Engineering Managers to define clear functional requirements, timelines, roadmaps, and designs for your team.

• Communicate and present to stakeholders and internal teams regarding roadmaps, updates, release schedules, etc.

• Contribute in strategic planning by making recommendations that drive operational excellence to create customer satisfaction and meet operational metrics.

Who You Are

The Hard Skills

• Educational background in CS // Engineering or similar area.

• At least 3 years of engineering leadership experience in large-scale software development.

• Proven delivery experience working under an Agile // Scrum methodology.

• A demonstrated history of implementing and managing significant software development projects.

The Soft Skills

• A collaborative mindset and work approach with the ability to lead projects and mentor others.

• The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with a high level of autonomy and responsibilities.

• Passion for solving complex problems with quality software at scale.

• Excellent communication skills especially being able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Keen on tracking and presenting work against milestones.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 USD annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter and hiring manager can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
