Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Kotlin-based APIs and microservices to support money movement and payments workflows
- Implement and optimize data storage and access patterns using PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Deploy and operate services in an AWS environment, ensuring reliability and scalability
- Own CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes to drive fast, safe deployments
- Participate in code reviews, drive engineering best practices, and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, security, operations) to deliver production-ready features
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant professional experience in backend software development
