This is why I stopped feeling bad for recruiters

At this point I don’t take cancellations personally. 9/10 it’s not the recruiter, it’s the client changing their mind last second.

crazy how they expect “professionalism” from candidates but operate like teenagers planning group projects.

Yup. Recruiters ghosting, canceling, rescheduling… it’s just part of the circus.

This is why I stopped bending over backwards for last-minute recruiter asks. If they can waste my time, I can protect mine.

The worst is when they cancel after you’re already logged in waiting on Zoom. Happened twice to me.

Recruiting feels like speed dating now. All that emotional energy for a “lol nvm.”
