bro that’s like… half your check just to exist. how do they not see the irony??
$18/hr in a city where rent is $1,500? That’s not charity
nonprofits love helping people as long as it’s not their own employees 🙃

Saw a job listing at a nonprofit that helps people living with HIV get access to housing. Great cause, great org until I saw the pay: $18/hr. This is in a major city where even a crappy apartment is $1500+ a month.
