it is a smart move if you truly love and enjoy it. everything can learn if you truly want to.
If you’re disciplined, it works. If you’re not, you’ll come home tired and never touch programming again. Be real with yourself.
Don’t overthink it. Any first job builds discipline + work experience. You can pivot later.
ngl it sounds like hell. type type type all day, then stare at more screens at night
data entry is… fine short-term. but it’s a dead end career-wise. use it as a stepping stone
That’s actually a solid plan tbh. Keep food on the table with something stable and learn coding at night. A lot of devs started with “boring” jobs while studying.
Not a waste. A paycheck is a paycheck, and data entry buys you time to skill up. Just don’t get stuck there too long, it’s easy to plateau.
