average working hrs throughout a normal workday?

You’re not alone. The “overwork guilt” is real at first, but remote culture should be about results, not chair time.
I average 3–5 hours of actual focused work a day and still feel like I’m doing more than I did at the office surrounded by distractions.
as a manager, if your team’s productive and responsive, I couldn’t care less if they take long walks or bake banana bread between meetings.
Yep, once you build systems and know your team’s needs, 2–4 focused hours can go a long way. Especially in roles that aren’t super reactive.
I used to feel guilty too. But if you’re delivering results, that is the job.
remote work isn’t about staring at a screen 9 hours it’s about output.

okay so I’ve been fully remote almost a year now. in the beginning I was stressed outta my mind and putting in crazy hours like 10–12 a day. but lately, I find myself working maybe 2–4 hours on average, and still getting everything done. some days obviously require more, but most of the time I’m just chillin between tasks or doing admin stuff. I’m not slacking and I meet every deadline, my manager’s happy, and no complaints so far.
is this just how remote work is once you’re in the groove or should I be worried I’m not doing enough?
