Are onsite jobs paying more now?

noticed it too in NJ pharma companies. more onsite, slightly higher salaries.
Could also be they can’t fill those roles otherwise, so $$ is the carrot.
i’ll take less pay to stay in my pjs, tyvm.
in my field (IT audit) the fully onsite gigs are paying ~15% more than hybrid. still not worth the subway tho.
or… they’re just fishing for desperate candidates and won’t actually pay that range lol.
Makes sense since they gotta offset the time + money you burn going in.
seeing the same in boston. extra $5–10k for onsite just to make people commute again.

Noticed something lately in NYC/NJ job listings for finance/accounting:
Full onsite roles are paying more than remote or hybrid ones for the same level of experience. Maybe a coincidence, but feels like companies are offering more $$ to justify the 5x/week grind.
