AE remote vs office position

I started remote and honestly felt lost at first. Slack isnโt the same as tapping someoneโs shoulder ๐
Hybrid was best for me. A couple days in-office gave structure and helped me bond w/ the team, but I still had flexibility.
Iโm fully remote and crushing quota. You just have to be proactive
Being in the office gave me access to convos I wouldnโt have heard otherwise. Random chats turned into learning moments.
remote is fine if your manager is hands-on and thereโs solid onboarding. otherwise, ramp can feel sloooow.
Office helped me a lot in the first few months. Could ask questions on the fly, pick up on tone, see how top reps handled objections.

Hi everyone! Iโm about to start a new role as an AE and was hoping to get some advice. The company has offices (coworking-style) in New York and San Francisco, but I could also stay fully remote.
For those whoโve done the role or worked in similar setups, does being in the office help with things like ramping up faster, building relationships, or overall career growth? Or is remote just as good nowadays?
Would love to hear your take. Thanks!
