Lead Platform Engineer
Skills
- 10+ years in Platform/Cloud/DevOps/Security engineering with deep AWS experience.
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/OpenTofu) and managing AWS resources.
- Experience with container orchestration and serverless (EKS, ECS, Docker, Lambda).
- Proficiency in scripting and programming (shell, Python, TypeScript or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git/GitHub workflows, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.).
- Knowledge of SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect) and PII security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Lead platform initiatives: CI/CD, pipelines, IaC, container orchestration, and security improvements.
- Mentor and lead platform engineers, establishing best practices and driving technical decisions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Own and improve software lifecycle management tools and deployment processes across environments.
- Review code and infrastructure changes to ensure performance, security, and maintainability.
- Champion sustainable delivery models and engineering excellence across the organization.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
