Skills
- Experience certifying, regulating, qualifying or auditing manufactured hardware deployed in production.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication for regulatory negotiation and documentation.
- Applied understanding of requirement derivation, verification, and product design processes.
- Ability to integrate multi-disciplinary technical analyses into regulatory justifications.
- Scripting/automation skills to generate analysis and documentation (e.g., Python, scripting tools).
- Familiarity with quality and regulatory frameworks and standards.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end licensing execution for application deliverables, from safety analyses to physical protection plans.
- Serve as primary liaison between engineering teams and NRC to obtain regulatory clarity and drive approvals.
- Integrate design analyses, test results, and technical inputs into structured licensing documentation and data products.
- Coordinate and oversee technical team execution, organize inputs, and ensure timely resolution of regulatory issues.
- Review design decisions for regulatory impact and ensure adherence to Radiant’s licensing approach.
- Write automation scripts to produce data analysis and documentation that support regulatory submissions.
- Ensure completeness, quality, and timeliness of regulatory filings and submission packages.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in nuclear, mechanical, electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical field from an accredited institution.
