At Rad AI, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare with artificial intelligence. Founded by a radiologist, our AI-driven solutions are revolutionizing radiology—saving time, reducing burnout, and improving patient care. With one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world, our AI has helped uncover hundreds of new cancer diagnoses and reduced error rates in tens of millions of radiology reports by nearly 50%.
Rad AI has secured over $140M in funding, including a recently oversubscribed Series C ($68M round) led by Transformation Capital, bringing our valuation to $528M. Our investors include Khosla Ventures, World Innovation Lab, Gradient Ventures, Cone Health Ventures, and others—all backing our mission to empower physicians with cutting-edge AI.
Our latest advancements in generative AI are used by thousands of radiologists daily, supporting more than one-third of radiology groups and healthcare systems and nearly 50% of all medical imaging in the U.S. at partners including Cone Health, Jefferson Einstein Health, Geisinger, Guthrie Healthcare System, and Henry Ford Health.
Recognized as one of the most promising healthcare AI companies by CB Insights and AuntMinnie, and ranked by Deloitte as the 19th fastest-growing company in North America, we are building AI-powered solutions that make a real impact. Most recently, Rad AI was named to CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list, highlighting the innovation and momentum behind our mission.
If you’re ready to shape the future of healthcare, we’d love to have you on our team!
Why Join Us:
We’re looking for a world-class Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives Lead at a pivotal moment in Rad AI’s growth.
As part of the Office of the CEO, you'll work directly with executive leadership to drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives across product, partnerships, fundraising, and operations. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how Rad AI scales and executes on its mission—at the cutting edge of AI and healthcare.
This role is perfect for a strategic operator and internal fixer—someone who thrives on solving complex, ambiguous problems, building lightweight systems, and pushing priorities over the finish line. You’ll have the opportunity to own company-wide planning, drive clarity across teams, and influence outcomes from the frontline to the C-suite.
You’ll be part of a mission-driven team building cutting-edge AI that meaningfully improves patient care, all within a remote-first culture that values action, ownership, and continuous learning. This role reports directly to the Chief of Staff.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Own Strategic Planning & Execution: Own Rad AI’s company-wide OKR process and planning rhythms—including quarterly goal-setting, cross-functional alignment, QBRs, OKR reviews, and leadership check-ins.
Lead High-Impact Projects: Scope, prioritize, and execute 2-3 concurrent, CEO-sponsored initiatives (e.g., market expansion, partnerships, investor work-streams).
Act as a Fixer: Identify bottlenecks, untangle cross-functional issues, and implement lightweight processes to keep teams moving efficiently.
Enable Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with functional leaders to ensure team goals ladder up to company priorities, with clear ownership and accountability.
Build Simple, Scalable Systems: Create tools, templates, and dashboards that operationalize strategy and make performance visible.
Support Strategic Deal-Making: Lead complex partnership efforts—structuring deals, aligning internal stakeholders, and driving negotiations to close.
Communicate with Influence: Craft clear, compelling narratives—from investor memos to exec Slack updates—that drive alignment and action
Who We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in strategic operations, business operations or program management roles at a tech or healthtech company.
Previous experience at a top-tier management consulting firm.
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution, delivering measurable results on tight timelines.
Deep familiarity with U.S. healthcare—provider, payer, or healthtech—including partnership dynamics, compliance considerations, and stakeholder management.
Fluency with modern collaboration and planning tools (e.g., Notion, Monday.com, Asana, Miro, Slack); bonus if you’ve integrated OKRs into BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
Executive-level written and verbal communication skills; able to craft clear, compelling narratives across audiences.
Comfortable navigating both startup ambiguity and matrixed, enterprise-scale environments.
High bias for action, strong analytical thinking, and a growth mindset.
Nice to Have:
Experience with AI/ML products, data-driven SaaS, or healthcare technology.
Exposure to healthcare workflows or regulatory-heavy product cycles.
Background in financial modeling, M&A, or venture investing.
Prior experience working directly with a CEO, COO, Chief of Staff, or VP of Business Operations on strategic initiatives.
Experience working in a startup environment with an ambiguous or evolving environment.
Join our world-class team as we build and deploy AI solutions that empower physicians and transform patient care—making a meaningful impact on millions of lives. Driven by our mission, we prioritize transparency, inclusion, and close collaboration, bringing together exceptional people to revolutionize healthcare. If you're passionate about driving innovation and delivering impactful healthcare solutions, we'd love to hear from you!
