- Kubernetes cluster administration and troubleshooting

- CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) and GitOps practices
- Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals
- Experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with DoD security posture and clearance processes
Responsibilities
- Maintain 24x7x365 uptime and perform weekend-shift operations for mission-critical DoD systems
- Deploy, secure, and operate multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration tooling like Ansible
- Manage Helm charts and GitOps workflows for reliable application delivery
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster and application performance
- Collaborate with senior engineers on compliance, reliability engineering, and audits
- Produce and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and audit-ready documentation
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Relevant industry certifications encouraged (CKA, cloud certs)
- Equivalent military or hands-on operational experience accepted
