Position Overview

QinetiQ US is looking to hire a Systems Engineer who can test and demonstrate prototype EO/IR sensors, weapon systems, and Soldier equipment at our Ft. Belvoir, VA location. The slected candidate will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

• Test and demonstrate advanced prototype EO/IR sensors, weapon systems, and Soldier equipment in support of US Army Modernization intiatives.
• Ability to operate and maintain firing range in order to conduct testing and validation of weapon-mounted devices and sensor systems.
• Preform weapon safety training, weapon operation SOPs, and ensure compliance with range access and safety protocols.
• Conduct training and demonstration sessions on developing weapon technologies.
• Manage daily logistics for weapons and sensor systems, including maintence coordination.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher level degree.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting DOD customers and programs.
• Certification in Firearms Technology.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
