PushPress is the market leader for gym management technology in boutique functional fitness (CrossFit, strength training, weightlifting, etc), and we’re growing rapidly in Martial Arts. We are looking for a full-stack, T-shaped growth expert to roll shoulder to shoulder with our Martial Arts team to build and scale our brand and base in this new vertical. This vertical leader will have access to the resources of a larger company while running 0-1 GTM tactics in this Martial Arts “startup within a startup”. You’ll be the founding Growth leader for the Martial Arts vertical — running end-to-end acquisition like a founder, with access to the data, creative, and paid infrastructure of PushPress. You’ll thrive here if you love starting from zero and scaling fast with limited playbooks.


As the founding Growth Marketing Lead - Martial Arts at PushPress, you will:


Own 0-1 Go-to-market Acquisition Strategy
  • Own TOFU KPIs for customer acquisition, complete with strategy and execution for these campaigns.
  • Own multi-channel paid acquisition performance and strategy leveraging paid ads, organic social, content, ABM, etc.
  • Pilot and scale net new channels and initiatives, with strong targeting, continuous audience development, and creative campaigns.  
  • Monitor real-time and cohort-based performance data to surface insights, drive decisions, and improve outcomes.


Own Audience & Market Insights & Market
  • Drive market insights to inform messaging and positioning, underwrite campaign targeting, and refine playbooks with Sales. 
  • Develop buyer personas with the Martial Arts team informed by market, audience, and competitor research to intelligently map the GTM landscape.


Build and Scale a Testing Framework
  • Develop and execute a rigorous experimentation framework to test creatives, channels, offers, audiences, and funnel strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, lifecycle, product marketing, and sales teams to deliver unified messaging and execution.


What You'll Bring
  • 6+ years of work experience in Growth and Product Marketing or as a startup founder within a B2B SaaS or B2B2C startup
  • In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting
  • Fluency using CRM systems (Hubspot/Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms and BI Tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar)
  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving startup or a hyper-growth environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership


Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Digital Ads: Meta Business Manager (Ads), Google Ads, Reddit Ads, X ads
  • Offline; OOH, OTT, Direct Mail, ABM
  • CRMs & campaign tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Intercom)
  • Collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace)
  • Enablement/content tools (presentation decks, sales enablement platforms, content management)
  • Background in fitness / SMB SaaS (you’ll hit the ground faster) - bonus if you have a personal background in martial arts
  • Familiarity with product analytics & AI tools
  • Proficiency with SQL/R/python is a plus
