JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Borrelli Institute for Real Estate Studies (BIRES) is looking to hire students to help liaise with student groups and create/write content for BIRES social media accounts.
Responsibilities will include interviewing students, alumni, and faculty for articles and stories, attending BIRES events, as well as taking photos on a regular basis. This role will be responsible for increasing the Institute’s presence on LinkedIn, Instagram etc. as well as creating other communication content. Other duties as assigned depending upon interest and ability.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Canva
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented in managing responsibilities and timelines
Clear communication, marketing skills, and the ability to take initiative are critical to success in this opportunity. Smeal majors preferred. The schedule is approximately 5-10 hours/week with flexibility. The starting rate for this position is $12.50 per hour.
