Logistics HSN Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The Logistics HSN Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods to HSN. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchase Order Monitoring:

• Monitor and track upcoming purchase orders to ensure timely preparation for shipments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information related to each order to mitigate potential issues.

• Scheduling and Pickup:

• Utilize customers' Transportation Management System (TMS) to schedule carrier pickups.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to optimize transportation schedules.
• Estimate pallet counts for each shipment to determine the number of containers required.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to effectively plan, and utilize pallet inventory.

Production Coordination:

• Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure availability aligns with scheduled ship dates.
• Communicate any potential production delays or issues affecting customer ship-date timelines.

Service Level Tracking / Performance Reporting:

• Monitor and track service levels to ensure compliance with agreed-upon standards.
• Implement improvements to optimize service levels and performance.
• Generate regular reports on logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
• Analyze data to identify trends and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Issue Resolution:

• Proactively identify and address issues related to logistics and transportation.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve any challenges that may impact delivery timelines.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination and transportation management.
• Strong knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
