Skills
- 3+ years experience in community operations, developer relations, or technical program management
- Strong written communication across asynchronous, public, and community channels
- Experience engaging authentically on Reddit, Discord, and developer forums
- Skilled at documentation, process design, and operationalizing repeatable workflows
- Event logistics and virtual event management experience
- Ability to gather, synthesize, and present community insights to cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain 1:1 relationships with top community contributors, creators, and power users
- Monitor Reddit, Discord, and other external forums to identify and engage active Postman users
- Guide external participants into owned communities (Discord, Discourse) and support onboarding
- Manage ambassador onboarding, communication, and reward fulfillment for a global network
- Identify and elevate spotlight-worthy community work across marketing channels
- Surface community insights and feedback to inform product, DevRel, and content strategy
- Collaborate with DevRel, Product, and Marketing on engagement pilots, AMAs, and challenges
- Own operations for community programs: content tracking, calendars, deliverable logs
- Manage logistics for virtual community events and contributor showcases
- Maintain and scale contributor onboarding flows and ensure high-quality execution
Education
- No formal degree required; relevant professional experience accepted
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory
