Polymarket is the world’s largest prediction market. It’s half “put your money where your mouth is”, half search engine for the future.
We’re growing fast — with over $6B traded this year — and rapidly becoming a trusted alternative to traditional media. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global information, and sports will be a cornerstone of that mission.
Polymarket is seeking a Head of Sports — a senior product leader to own and scale our sports vertical end-to-end. This is not a narrow PM role: you’ll be responsible for the strategy, product, operations, and growth of Polymarket’s sports offering.
You’ll shape the future of how sports markets are created, traded, and experienced on Polymarket. From market generation automation to liquidity relationships, from product innovation (leverage, parlays, pari-mutuel structures) to oracle improvements — you’ll run the full stack of sports. Your mandate is simple: make Polymarket’s sports product the best in the world.
This role requires deep product instincts, strong technical ability, and domain expertise in sports betting — ideally with experience at sports betting exchanges.
Own sports end-to-end. Define and execute the vision for Polymarket’s sports product, from market creation through user experience.
Automate market generation. Lead efforts to scale and optimize sports market coverage through automation and data-driven processes.
Innovate product structures. Experiment with and launch new sports products such as leveraged markets, parlays, and pari-mutuel mechanisms.
Manage liquidity relationships. Build and maintain relationships with LPs and partners, ensuring healthy, competitive markets.
Engineer reliability. Create systems and processes to ensure markets are accurate, consistent, and resilient — preventing broken markets, misresolutions, or liquidity failures.
Improve infrastructure. Work with engineering teams on oracle improvements, data integrity, and reliability of sports feeds.
Integrate UX. Collaborate with design and frontend teams to create the most intuitive and engaging sports betting experience.
Monitor & iterate. Track performance, identify gaps, and continuously refine both user-facing features and backend processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner closely with leadership, engineers, and market creators to align on strategy and execution.
3+ years of product management, trading, or technical leadership experience
Deep knowledge of sports betting, ideally from working at a betting exchange or sportsbook
Proven track record building and scaling consumer-facing financial or trading products
Strong technical background — able to engage deeply with engineers on APIs, automation, and infrastructure
Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to launch
Passion for sports, prediction markets, and innovating at the frontier of trading and media
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with DeFi, on-chain betting, or prediction markets
Prior relationships with sportsbooks, data providers, or liquidity networks
Background in quantitative trading, exchange mechanics, or market design
Competitive salary & equity
Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, & Dental coverage
