We are seeking a Power BI Data Analyst with strong technical and business acumen to join our growing team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights across the organization. You’ll leverage your expertise in SQL, data modeling, and DAX to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance. 

The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development and a solid understanding of the real estate investment management industry. You’ll act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, transforming complex data into clear, strategic insights that drive decision-making. 

Job Highlights:

• We are seeking a hands-on detail-oriented data analyst with investment management industry experience and expertise with business intelligence and reporting. 
• Candidates will have mastery in business intelligence and experience with SQL, data modeling, and data governance. 
• Possess strong business knowledge of the investment management industry and common data management operations. 
• Mastery creating Business Intelligence reports using Power BI. 
• Strong hands-on SQL skills. 

Job Details:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization. 

• Develop and maintain Power BI models by utilizing Power Query and DAX to transform raw data into a usable format, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance within the data model. 

• Demonstrate your knowledge as SME and liaison for clients and internally between technical and non-technical workers to transform requirements into real results. 

• Support quality control as you approve and validate test results to verify that all requirements have been met. 

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development including creating complex reports, dashboards and custom visualizations. 
• 3-5 years of experience in real estate, data analytics/business intelligence, investment management, or financial planning & analysis. 
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query for data transformation and modeling in Power BI. 
• Proficiency in writing SQL and optimizing SQL queries for performance. 
• Hands-on experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). 
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
