Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to design, develop, and maintain multi-site communications networked infrastructure. This position is located in Ramstein Air Base, Germany (International Assignment) *NO REMOTE WORK**
What You'll Be Doing:
Manages account creation and account administration on physical and virtual machines.
Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues.
Conducts virtual machine builds on physical server stacks.
Documents and maintains servers, creates monitoring reports and logs, and ensures functionality of systems.
Installs and administers Windows and Linux Servers.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related professional or associate's degree with 7+ relevant work experience or 10+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Sec +, etc)
5 + years of experience in a System Administrator role
Experience with virtualization
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Experience with routers, switches, and firewall configuration
Understanding of STIG, SCAP, and RMF requirements
Secret clearance is required

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Creates GOLD images and server backups with the appropriate OS hardening, leveraging the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Content Application Protocol (SCAP) scans.
Conducts routing and switching within the enclave, and integration of Firewalls.
