- Hands-on surgical assistance in organ procurement

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely and consistently
- Use of mobile apps and digital case coordination tools
Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack supplies for procurement ORs and coordinate meeting locations with the transplant team
- Assist in donor organ recoveries and perform intraoperative surgical assistance as required
- Perform organ packaging and preservation according to OPTN guidelines and Paragonix protocols
- Set up OR using aseptic technique and ensure proper device preparation and handling
- Provide device training and in-field support to clinical teams when not on service cases
- Collaborate with Quality and Operations to refine best practices and protocols
- Participate in hospital and medical staff donor-related committees as requested
- Train and evaluate new team members and provide first-class customer service and communication
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations and Paragonix/Transplant Advocate policies
- Use and support Paragonix App or other communication tools for case coordination
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Health Science or equivalent transplant-related experience
- Relevant clinical certifications preferred (Surgical Technologist, ABTC, CSFA, RN FA)
