Responsibilities
- Manage new product development planning and execution in partnership with marketing, program management, operations, regulatory and quality
- Provide technical oversight and hands-on engineering support to product development teams
- Oversee preparation and maintenance of product development documentation to satisfy Design History Files
- Support regulatory activities including FDA submissions
- Manage, mentor and develop R&D direct reports
- Participate in hiring and talent development for R&D personnel
- Contribute to creation and protection of intellectual property
- Improve engineering processes and procedures to accelerate innovation
- Travel up to 15% as required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering discipline required
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
