Account Operations Specialist, West Coast

Palmetto is a clean-tech company delivering end-to-end solutions for home electrification, combining software, financial products, and services to accelerate clean energy adoption. The Account Operations Specialist will manage the LightReach Installers pipeline and act as a primary contact for partner accounting inquiries, driving timely financial processing, aging resolution, and process improvements across cross-functional teams.

Skills

Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
Experience with financial reporting and data analysis tools
Account reconciliation and invoice/payment investigation skills
Strong written and verbal communication for partner and cross-functional collaboration
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Ability to prepare clear reports and executive updates

Responsibilities

Monitor, track, and manage aging customer accounts to ensure timely resolution
Analyze aging reports, identify trends and discrepancies, and prepare management updates
Work cross-functionally with accounting, finance, sales, customer success, and relationship management to resolve overdue accounts
Drive recommendations for partner offboarding or sales shutoff for problem partners
Serve as primary point of contact for partner accounting inquiries and resolve invoicing/payment discrepancies
Maintain accurate documentation of partner interactions and financial resolutions
Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize partner financial workflows

Education

Bachelor's degree required
