Skilled in mechanism design and integration of structural, optical, and electronic subsystems.
Proficient in parametric 3D CAD and rapid prototyping techniques (CNC, additive, soft tooling, quick-turn molding).
Comfortable working with both rigid and soft/flexible materials such as silicone, TPU, textiles, and foams.
Strong understanding of ergonomic principles and anthropometry
Hands-on approach to prototyping, testing, and refining designs based on real-world performance.
BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven track record designing and delivering wearable, head-worn, or compact consumer/medical products.
Expertise in materials and manufacturing processes including injection molding, CNC machining, and PCBA integration.
Experience driving the full product lifecycle — concept, prototyping, validation, and production.
Knowledge of DFx methodologies and data-driven design iteration.
Familiarity with FEA/CFD simulations for structural, thermal, or motion analysis.
Experience with anthropometric modeling and use of digital headforms
Vendor management experience for tooling, pilot builds, and small-volume manufacturing.
Mentorship or technical leadership in mechanical design projects.
