Lead - Demand Planner

A fast-growing premium sportswear company is seeking a Lead - Demand Planner to own the end-to-end demand planning process and drive accurate, consensus-driven volume and value forecasts. The role requires partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Finance and Global Supply teams to optimize inventory, support new product launches and improve forecast accuracy across channels.

  • Advanced Excel and analytical tool proficiency
  • Experience with planning platforms (Anaplan/D365 beneficial)
  • Strong attention to detail and independent execution

Responsibilities

  • Own the full demand planning lifecycle, producing consolidated demand plans for budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts
  • Analyze historical sales, market trends and internal drivers to develop and refine statistical forecast models
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment with Sales, Merchandising and Finance to reconcile variances and establish consensus plans
  • Partner with Global Supply and Demand Planning teams to develop inventory and replenishment strategies for launches, live items and phase-outs
  • Communicate customer action plans, inventory days and liquidation strategies with Sales & Operations and Supply Planning
  • Identify root causes and deliver autonomous solutions and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Build strong cross-functional networks to drive knowledge exchange and project success
  • Prioritize work and make decisions independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous growth environment

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree or MBA is a plus but not required
