Full Stack Engineer
Skills
- Strong React experience including component patterns and state management
- Professional Ruby on Rails experience (models, controllers, APIs, background jobs)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
- Attention to security, performance, and accessibility best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot across the full stack and propose pragmatic solutions
Responsibilities
- Implement new frontend and backend features using React and Ruby on Rails
- Improve and maintain existing functionality and integrations across services
- Design and refine APIs and support background job processing
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate on technical design and improvements
- Ensure test coverage, reliability, performance, security, and accessibility
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support iterative delivery within Agile workflows
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and deliver usable experiences
Education
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Certain roles may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain federal background investigation or security clearance
