We’re hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer with GitLab expertise to lead client delivery efforts across automation, infrastructure, cloud, and CI/CD initiatives. This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys moving fast, solving complex problems, and mentoring engineers. You’ll work across industries, helping clients modernize infrastructure and deploy with speed and security.
GitLab SME with PSE certification, having experience with version upgrades and migrations.
Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
Build and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Lead containerization with Kubernetes, Docker, or ECS.
Automate deployment and operations with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Apply cloud security best practices across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Guide clients through incident response and change management processes
Mentor engineers and contribute to internal delivery frameworks
Engage directly with clients to assess, advise, and execute solutions in agile environments
5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Architecture roles
2+ years in a consulting, shared services, or advisory environment
(Must have supported multiple teams or clients—not embedded in a single product team)
Proven expertise in:
CI/CD: GitLab (preferred), GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
IAC: Terraform or equivalent
Containers: Kubernetes, Docker, or ECS
Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to monitoring, observability, incident & change management
Strong communication and client collaboration skills
Agile delivery experience
Fluent in conversational English
Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD)
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with config management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.)
Previous mentorship or internal tooling contributions
Enthusiastic about internal knowledge sharing and helping grow engineering culture
Work with deeply technical clients on high-impact projects
