NBCU Local is reimagining storytelling for the next generation of local news watchers, delivering local content to English and Spanish-speaking audiences in 31 U.S. TV markets and Puerto Rico. General Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Associate Systems Engineer to join the Technology team in Dallas-Fort Worth supporting The NBC Studios at DFW. As an Associate Systems Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the implementation and support of technology and users within our mission critical, media production and enterprise IT environment. Job Responsibilities:
• Support the administration of media production applications, systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability of technology and operations.
• Be able to read and understand system documentation for operational and troubleshooting purposes.
• Provide technical support, incident response, and customer communication.
• Ensure compliance with NBCUniversal cyber security policies and standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Required onsite. This position is required to be performed full time onsite from an NBCUniversal designated work site.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, radio, television & film, related fields or equivalent experience.
• Solid IT fundamentals including administration of physical / virtualized / cloud compute & storage, networking, domain & identity management.
