As a Mobile QA Engineer at Mudflap, you’ll play a pivotal role ensuring that our systems deliver a world-class experience to both truckers and fuel stop partners. You'll join a tight-knit, high-performance team that cares deeply about shipping quality software and supporting each other’s growth.

Expectations (In the role, you will):
Collaborate with engineering leads and product owners to understand critical paths that require test coverage, for both existing and new functionality.
Collaborate with engineering leads and product owners to integrate testing with technical CI/CD systems and the GTM (“go to market”) process; ultimately leveraging new test capabilities to drive quality for actual customers.
Evaluate outcomes in a quantitative sense; can we improve our ability to find material issues before they hit customers in production.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests.
Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for various test scenarios.
Experience (What we look for):
5+ years of professional QA experience, with a significant portion in more automation centric roles.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills enabling direct collaboration with business stakeholders at all levels in a distributed world.
Excellent knowledge of iPhone and Android device capabilities.
Strong technical skills implementing automated tests via modern automation frameworks such as Espresso, XCUITest, and / or Appium.
Strong understanding of mobile development languages such as Swift and / or Kotlin.
Strong understanding of scripting languages such as Python and / or Typescript.
Experience with API debugging tools such as Proxyman or Charles.
Experience with utilizing feature flags and A/B tests.
Excellent documentation capabilities in order to develop and maintain test cases.
Strong manual QA skills.

The salary range for this role is $155,000 - $180,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation.
