How would you like to be our Support Services Director?

Your Role

As Support Services Director:

  • You’ll develop others. This role is less task-focused and more people and growth-focused. You’ll get to lead and inspire people, and that’s precisely what you’re good at!
  • You’ll work through managers to help them grow their teams. You’ll be the one to make sure managers of the entire support services team have everything they need for their teams to perform. This includes coaching and supporting management for dispatch, contact center, warehouse, purchasing, and fleet.
  • You’ll spotlight areas of focus and work to improve them. Your attention to detail is gonna serve you well in this role! You’ll see what our weak spots are, and you’ll strategize on how to make the team stronger. Our focus is always on making things easy for our customers. If there’s something that isn’t easy for them, you’re gonna spot it and help us work to better it!
  • You’ll address escalated customer concerns. Sometimes, expectations aren’t met or things aren’t communicated as well as they should be. You’re no stranger to talking to customers, and you know how to make them feel better when things aren’t right!

  • You’ve got a lot of management experience. Even though you’ve got at least seven years of office and/or operations management experience, that doesn’t mean you’re done growing. You believe there’s always room to grow yourself—personally and professionally!

You have an easy time building relationships with the people you work with, and you know how to motivate and inspire them to grow! Nothing brings you greater joy than seeing the people you support succeed in their roles.
  • You’re adaptive, strategic, detailed, and patient. You know how to switch gears when a bigger priority comes up, you’ve got a knack for brainstorming solutions and making them happen, and you don’t give up easily!
  • You like to dive right in! You’re not the type who sits around waiting to be told what to do. You’ve got a vision for success, and you’re ready to make moves! And when those goals have been achieved, you’re already thinking about the next great thing.
  • You’re open-minded. Even though you’ll be overseeing our support services team, all the teams that fall under that umbrella are unique. Not every solution works for every team, and you’re always open to thinking about things differently!

The Super-Fun HR Stuff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Support Services Director:

  • At least seven (7) years of office or operations management experience 
  • Exceptional customer service skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to devise creative solutions, exercise independent judgment, and make appropriate decisions 
  • Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks 
  • Committed adherence and enforcement of the company’s core values and core purpose 
  • Intermediate level or higher proficiency with computer skills and Microsoft Excel 
  • Reliable and punctual attendance 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for Support Services Director:

  • At least ten (10) years of office or operations management experience 
  • Prior management experience successfully leading and overseeing a team of 100+ direct/indirect reports 
  • Prior residential Plumbing and/or HVAC industry experience 
  • Prior Service Titan Experience
