Job Summary:
MPS is seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Analyst to join our Global Finance team. This is a critical and high-profile position that will play a key cross-functional role with Legal, FP&A, Operations and HR to support operational and technical tax accounting and corporate treasury operational matters.
This is a 100% onsite position. To ensure on-time attendance and efficient collaboration, we strongly prefer candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance not greater than 30 miles (ideally within 30 minutes of the office).

MPS is seeking a Senior Corporate Tax Analyst to lead and manage the day-to-day responsibilities of Corporate Tax functions at Monolithic Power Systems, which includes domestic and international corporate taxation as well as global cash management responsibilities in conjunction with Corporate Treasury. We are looking for a versatile team player and leader who can engage effectively with Corporate Legal teams, cross functional Finance teams, HR and Operations, and thrive in a fast-paced fast-growing public company setting. The Senior Tax Analyst is primarily responsible for collaboratively managing corporate tax accounting, compliance and planning activities in addition to corporate treasury operational management of treasury assets.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing and reviewing MPS’s quarterly and annual tax provision and tax return
Collaborating with technical external service providers to support our growing domestic and international operations
Managing state and local tax matters including both direct and indirect taxes
Collaboratively lead and manage other responsibilities related to the broader Finance organization
Essential Functions:
Tax Filings
Federal, international and state income tax returns including all related support
Tracking the tax returns for the Company’s international subsidiaries
Analyzing sales, use, and property tax requirements
Tax Accounting
Working with a third party on preparation and review of quarterly tax provision and tax accounting for stock based compensation
Preparation of supporting documents and memos
Collecting internal control documentation and SOX testing requirements
Other Tax Items
Analyzing the tax impact of new US and global legislative changes
Assist in projects relating to VAT, Sales Tax, international audits, and research and development credit studies
Assist in US and foreign Transfer Pricing projects including Country-by-Country reporting
General Finance Support Including:
Collaborating with Head of Tax to support operational management of Corporate Treasury activities and Enterprise Risk Management responsibilities
Supporting the organization’s global subsidiary management and administration
Intercompany accounting support
Supporting ad hoc projects that arise as applicable
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Master’s Degree in Taxation preferred
US GAAP accounting knowledge with 3-5 years’ experience, preferably including Big 4 Tax
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and organization skills
Can-do attitude and a true self-starter
Demonstrated agility to change, to lead the adaptation of processes and systems as the company grows to help enable the team and the company to thrive

Intermediate knowledge of Excel
Must be able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision
Can effectively apply accounting knowledge to solve for day-to-day operational needs as well as ad hoc projects
