We are building a generative AI and Low-code customer support automation platform dedicated to bringing effortless customer and agent experiences to every company. We are seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer to take the lead in designing and scaling the core distributed systems that power our next-generation AI agents.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a fast-moving engineer who will drive architectural decisions and technical direction, working directly with the company founders. You will own the full feature lifecycle, from initial concept to high-scale production deployment.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build robust distributed systems that power our AI agents, focusing on orchestration, real-time inference, and integrations with major enterprise platforms (e.g., Shopify, Zendesk, Salesforce).
• Lead technical initiatives across backend, data, and AI/ML systems, influencing architectural design, data pipelines, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate closely with the founders on strategic product and infrastructure decisions, directly shaping the company’s technical trajectory.
• Ship quickly and iteratively, taking features from idea to prototype to production, ensuring immediate impact for our customers.
• Contribute to and evolve our diverse tech stack, which includes Python, Node, React, Go, Airflow, and various AI/ML systems.
• Mentor and guide other engineers through rigorous code reviews, design sessions, and technical discussions.

We are looking for a product-focused engineer with a strong bias for action and significant experience building production systems across the stack.

• 3+ years of experience with hands-on software engineering with a strong product focus.
• Proficiency in modern backend and full-stack development. Experience with languages in our stack (Python, Node, React, Go) is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to design and scale distributed systems and tackle complex data/AI-related challenges.
• A strong, autonomous, and fast-moving mindset, thriving in an environment where ownership is real and impact is immediate.

Work Policy:

• This is a full-time, on-site role in San Francisco, CA.

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000 (Base Salary).
