Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid - 4 days/week in-person)

Compensation: $125,000 - $200,000 (Base Salary) + Equity Participation

We are a rapidly growing, well-capitalized health tech company pioneering the use of Generative AI and Voice Agents to transform patient communication. Our platform has already handled hundreds of thousands of patient interactions across over a hundred clinics, and we are scaling fast. We are looking for a product-minded Senior Software Engineer to build and scale the intelligent systems that make exceptional healthcare accessible anytime, anywhere.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing our AI-powered communication platform, working alongside world-class engineers and founders. You will have a high degree of autonomy and be involved in key product decisions from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Agent Development: Build and scale voice agents that serve as the first point of contact for medical practices, handling complex workflows from appointment scheduling to patient triage.
• Full-Cycle Development: Work closely with the engineering team to develop features and products from conception to deployment.
• Technical Leadership: Participate actively in design and development discussions, contributing fresh ideas, and tasked with solving complex problems in innovative ways.
• Industry Compliance: Develop scalable software solutions that comply with HIPAA and other stringent security standards required in the healthcare industry.
• Cross-Functional Engagement: Engage directly with healthcare professionals to tailor software solutions that meet real-world needs and join an agile team prioritizing rapid development and deployment.

• Experience: 4 to 8 years of experience as a software engineer (we are also open to junior engineers with 3+ years of experience or recent graduates with demonstrated interest).
• Core Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with cloud technologies like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Database: Experience working with relational databases, such as Postgres.
• Mindset: A strong product mindset and passion for transforming healthcare accessibility using AI/Machine Learning.
• Architecture: Experience building scalable software solutions and understanding of security standards, particularly in regulated industries.
