Mission Bit is seeking a Spring 2026 Teaching Assistant for their Intro to Game Design class at Burton High School in San Francisco, CA, responsible for fostering a supportive classroom environment and assisting students with their learning.
Responsibilities: Facilitate community building, manage the classroom, support student progress, and lead sessions in the absence of the instructor.
Skills: Experience working with youth, excellent communication skills, comfort in public speaking, and ability to work collaboratively.
Qualifications: Experience in game design or coding is a plus; bilingual candidates preferred.

Compensation: $23 - $23 / Hourly
Mission Bit is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that inspires youth of color to explore the world of STEM with project-based computer science education that embraces their identities. We offer a variety of hands-on STEM education programs, including biweekly, semester-long introductory coding courses.
As a TA for the Intro to Game Design class, you’ll promote a welcoming and supportive class community, foster productive collaboration, track student progress, and help students realize their potential.
